Commissioner Bobby Green, Sr., presided with Commissioners Bill Dwyer, Hugh Massengill, Anna Morrison and Judith Pothier present.  Peter Sorenson was present via telephone.  Don Hampton was excused.  County Administrator Bill Van Vactor, County Counsel Teresa Wilson and Recording Secretary Melissa Zimmer were also present.

2. COMMISSIONERS' REMONSTRANCE

 

None.

 

3. REGULAR BUSINESS

 

a. ORDER 04-11-23-1H/In the Matter of Approving the Public Housing Assessment System Certification for the Fiscal Year Ended September 30, 2004.

 

Don Williams, HACSA, explained this was a requirement of HUD to have the Board certification prior to making the submittal.  He noted the numbers before the Board were similar to last year.  He thought they would again be a high performer, with a grade of about 96.  He said this was all of the components that made up the management assessment portion.  He added there would be a resident survey performed by HUD independently.  He noted in December their units would be physically inspected.  He said he would come back in the spring with their final grade.

 

MOTION: to approve ORDER 04-11-23-1H.

 

Dwyer MOVED, Pothier SECONDED.

 

VOTE: 6-0.

 

4. CONSENT CALENDAR

 

a. Approval of Minutes:  May 12, 2004
