Commissioner Donald Hampton presided with Commissioners Bill Dwyer, Hugh Massengill, Anna Morrison, Judith Pothier and Peter Sorenson present.  Bobby Green, Sr., was excused  County Administrator Bill Van Vactor, County Counsel Teresa Wilson and Recording Secretary Melissa Zimmer were also present.

2. COMMISSIONERS' REMONSTRANCE

 

None.

 

3. REGULAR BUSINESS

 

a. ORDER 04-11-10-1H/In the Matter of Accepting a Bid and Awarding Contract #05-C-0002 for the Laurelwood Reconstruction:  Phase Six.

 

Don Williams, HACSA, stated there wasn’t any controversy about this bid.  He brought this to the Board because they only had two bidders. He stated the coast is a busy place for construction and it is getting more difficult to find contractors there.  He said they were happy with the price they received.  He noted the price per unit for construction was the same as three years ago.

 

MOTION:  to approve  ORDER 04-11-10-1H.

 

Dwyer MOVED, Pothier SECONDED.

 

VOTE: 6-0.

 

4. EXECUTIVE SESSION as per ORS 192.660

 

None.

 

There being no further business, Commissioner Hampton adjourned the meeting at 9:04.
