Commissioner Bobby Green, Sr., presided with Commissioners Bill Dwyer, Don Hampton, Anna Morrison, Hugh Masengill, Judith Pothier and Peter Sorenson present.  County Administrator Bill Van Vactor, County Counsel Teresa Wilson and Recording Secretary Melissa Zimmer were also present.

2. COMMISSIONERS' REMONSTRANCE

 

Sorenson noted the story in The Register-Guard about the U.S. housing budget and the Section 8 program was of concern to him.  He wanted an update from HACSA on the status of the federal budget and the impact that it would have on the community on the Housing Agency’s programs.

 

3. REGULAR BUSINESS

 

a. ORDER AND RESOLUTION 04-3-31-1H/In the Matter of Extending Workers’ Compensation Coverage to HACSA Volunteers.

 

MOTION:  to approve ORDER and RESOLUTION 04-3-31-1H.

 

Dwyer MOVED, Hampton SECONDED.

 

VOTE: 7-0.

 

4. EXECUTIVE SESSION as per ORS 192.660
