Stewart Covered Bridge is located on Garoutte Road just off of Mosby Creek Road near Cottage Grove. The bridge crosses Mosby Creek with a 60 foot span. Constructed in 1930 and restored in 1996, the design is a Howe truss. Stewart Bridge serves pedestrian and bicycle traffic only.

As a fundraiser to help maintain Lane County’s out-of-service covered bridges, the Public Works Department introduced this series of 17 covered bridge commemorative coins. In addition to general production costs, the retail price of each silver coin in the series is influenced by the cost of silver at the time of minting.
