Lane County
Hayden Bridge Road: Striping, pavement legends and access cover adjustments from Gateway Street, easterly, to 19th Street. Traffic will be controlled by flaggers, as necessary. Expect minimal delays.
23rd Street: Striping, pavement legends and access cover adjustments from Yolanda, northerly, to Hayden Bridge Road. Traffic will be controlled by flaggers, as necessary. Expect minimal delays.
Lake Drive: Striping and pavement legends from Howard Avenue, southerly to Horn Lane. Traffic will be controlled by flaggers, as necessary. Expect minimal delays.
Park Avenue: Striping and pavement legends from River Road, westerly to NW Expressway. Traffic will be controlled by flaggers, as necessary. Expect minimal delays.
North Park Avenue: Striping, pavement legends, access cover adjustments, driveway paving and shoulder rock from Maxwell Road, southerly, to NW Expressway. Traffic will be controlled by flaggers, as necessary. Expect minimal delays.
River Loop #1: Striping, pavement legends, access cover adjustments and shoulder rock from River Road, easterly, to north of East Beacon Drive. Traffic will be controlled by flaggers, as necessary. Expect minimal delays.
River Loop #2: Striping, pavement legends, and access cover adjustments from River Road, easterly, to River Loop #1. Traffic will be controlled by flaggers, as necessary. Expect minimal delays.
Santa Clara Area: Placement of slurry seal on various roads throughout the Santa Clara area. The roads are located from Irving Road, northerly to Irvington Road and River Road, westerly to Hyacinth Street. During work each road will be closed for a period of time between 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., local residents will be notified of schedule. Traffic will be controlled by flaggers, as necessary. Expect minimal delays.
Broadway Avenue: Pipe installation and road work on Broadway, Waldo and side streets. Broadway may be closed and when open traffic will be controlled by flaggers, as necessary. Expect minimal delays.
Wetleau Drive (adjacent to West Boundary Road): Roadway excavation and pipe installation for new roadway intersecting West Boundary. Expect minimal impact on traffic.
N. Diamond: Striping, pavement legends and manhole adjustments from Pearl Street, northerly to E. Locust. Traffic will be controlled by flaggers, as necessary. Expect minimal delays.
E. Locust: Striping, pavement legends and manhole adjustments from Willamette Street, easterly to N. Diamond. Traffic will be controlled by flaggers, as necessary. Expect minimal delays.
Nelson Mountain Road at Mile Post 5.8: Bridge Projects will be replacing a culvert with a fish friendly culvert. Road closed until 5 p.m., Tuesday, August 31.
West Sheffler Road at Mile Post 0.15: Bridge Projects will be replacing a culvert with a fish friendly culvert. Road closed beginning at 7 a.m., Monday, August 9 until 5 p.m., Friday, August 13.
Lane County Public works will be chipsealing the following road. One-lane traffic during work. Expect 10-minute deplays. Seek alternative routes of travel. Schedule is subject to change due to weather delays or materials availability.
MCKENZIE RIVER AREA
(McKenzie Highway) Highway 126 East, Mile Post 38.00 (Finn Rock) to Mile Post 55.00 (Highway 242)
Eugene
Ayres Pond Outfall Improvements: Improvements to culverts and pond outfall will occur within and around the waterway near the intersection of Gilham and Crescent roads. Watch for construction equipment traffic, lane closures and lane shifts. Use caution and follow signs and directions from flaggers. Expect delays of up to 5 minutes. Use alternate routes if possible.
Goodpasture Island Road: Construction is underway to install a major culvert crossing under Goodpasture Island Road. This road is closed now through August 18 near the Delta Ponds just north of Kendall Budget Sales. Access will be maintained to all businesses and residences; however there will be no thru traffic.
Valley River Drive: Traffic signals will be installed this week on Valley River Drive between Willagillespie Road and Goodpasture Island Road. This work will be done at night between the hours of 7 p.m. and 7 a.m. Goodpasture Island Road traffic signals will be installed between the hours of 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. At least one lane of traffic will be allowed at all times. Expect slight delays. This is the final phase of work on Valley River Drive.
Goodpasture Island Road from Kingsley Road to Delta Highway: Construction has begun on Goodpasture Island Road between Kingsley Road and Delta Highway and is anticipated to continue through the month of August. Concrete curb and sidewalk ramp work is ongoing and roadway milling and repair will begin this week. Watch for construction equipment traffic, lane closures, and lane shifts. At least one lane of traffic will be allowed at all times. Expect delays and use alternate routes if possible
High Street, between Third and 17th avenues: Miscellaneous cleanup work is scheduled between Third Avenue and 17th Avenue, weather permitting. Watch for construction equipment traffic, lane closures, and lane shifts. At least one lane of traffic will be allowed at all times. Expect slight delays.
Garfield Street, between Sixth and 11th avenues: Miscellaneous cleanup work is scheduled this week, weather permitting. This work will be done at night between 7 p.m. and 7 a.m. Watch for construction equipment traffic, lane closures, and lane shifts. Two-way traffic will be allowed at all times. Expect slight delays during night work hours.
33rd Avenue from Hilyard Street to Willamette Street: Utility miscellaneous cleanup work is scheduled for this week, weather permitting. Watch for construction equipment traffic, lane closures, and lane shifts. At times, 33rd Avenue may be open to one-way traffic. Expect slight delays.
13th Avenue from Alder Street to Washington Street: Paving will begin Tuesday, August 10, weather permitting. Watch for construction equipment traffic, lane closures, and lane shifts. At least one lane of traffic will be allowed at all times. Expect heavy delays and use alternate routes if possible.
11th Avenue, between Garfield and Tyinn streets: Utility adjustments and miscellaneous cleanup work are scheduled this week, weather permitting. This work will be done at night between the hours of 7 p.m. and 7 a.m. Watch for construction equipment traffic, lane closures, and lane shifts. Two-way traffic will be allowed at all times. Expect slight delays during night work hours.
Harlow Road, between Coburg Road and Interstate 5 overpass: Traffic loop installation and project clean up are scheduled this week. Expect minor delays.
W 18th Avenue, between City View and Chambers: Work on W 18th Avenue this week will include curb and gutter replacement, sidewalk access ramp work, and underground pipe installation. Expect traffic delays and use alternate routes when possible.
Crest Drive (Blanton Road to intersection with Crest Drive near Morse Family Farm): Reconstruction of this roadway will continue down the hill towards the lower (north) intersection with Crest near Morse Family Farm. Installation of the underground storm pipe is also scheduled to begin this week near the Blanton intersection and work towards Storey Boulevard. The entire length of Crest Drive from Blanton to the lower intersection with Crest is very rough and delays due to construction are likely. This road is closed to all traffic, except for those residents whose only access to their homes is on this roadway. Use caution and follow signs and directions from flaggers. Storey Boulevard (south intersection with Crest Drive to Lorane Highway): There may be roadside work along this road that may cause short delays to traffic. The southerly intersection with Crest is gravel and very rough. Closures on Crest may impact use of this intersection. Use caution and follow signs and directions from flaggers. Patterson Street (from E 13th Avenue to 18th Avenue): Reconstruction of this segment of Patterson Street continues this week. One lane of traffic will be open for southbound traffic (turning east or west may be restricted), but drivers are strongly encouraged to avoid congestion and delays by using Pearl Street to 19th Avenue and continuing south on Patterson at 19th. East 12th Avenue between Alder and Kincaid; Pearl Alley between 13th and 15th avenues; West Seventh Place at Conger; West Amazon Drive between Snell Drive and West Hillside Drive; Pearl Street between West 42nd and West 46th avenues; East 42nd at High Street to East 43rd Avenue at Mill Street; Hillside Drive at Snell Street; East 46th between Donald and Fox Hollow; Donald Street at East 46th Avenue; Summit Avenue at Paradise Lane; Sunset Alley at Sunset Drive: Wastewater rehabilitation will begin in these areas this week and will result in limited access to buildings and parking. Watch for construction equipment traffic, lane closures, and lane shifts. At least one lane of traffic will be allowed at all times. This work is scheduled to be completed the week of August 16.
