Business and Commercial Disposal Fees

Commercial Waste is waste generated by a non-residential source or delivered in a commercially marked vehicle.

The Glenwood, Florence and Short Mountain disposal sites are the only sites with scales. These sites use weight-based fees for commercial loads and certain other loads.

Fees for all loads at all sites other than Glenwood, Florence and Short Mountain are volume-based. There is a 10 yard maximum allowed per customer, per day, at rural sites.

Effective January 1, 2010, it is against state law to dispose of TVs, Computers and monitors in the garbage. But don't worry, this material can be recycled for FREE at five of Lane County's transfer sites click here for locations. Lane County sites cannot accept more than 7 items, floor-standing units, or dismantled items and parts. CONSTRUCTION & DEMOLITION DEBRIS
Construction and demolition debris is waste generated from remodels, construction or home improvement projects. Cement, dirt, land clearing debris such as stumps and rocks, sheet rock, shingles, tar paper, tile and wood are some examples of waste considered construction and demolition debris.

RURAL SITES	$10.00 per cubic yard 2 cubic yards or more

YARD DEBRIS & WOOD WASTE (DELIVERED TO YARD DEBRIS & WOOD RECOVERY AREA) Yard Debris & Wood collected only at Cottage Grove, Glenwood &Florence.
Acceptable wood/yard debris must be more than 50% of load to qualify for discount.

TIRES
Lane County Waste Transfer Stations do not accept commercially generated tires. Call (541)682-4120 for referrals.

APPLIANCES/WHITE GOODS
Lane County Waste Transfer Stations do not accept commercially generated appliances. Call (541)682-4120 for referrals.

PROPANE TANKS Tanks larger than 25 gallons are not accepted at Lane County sites. These fees apply to refillable propane tanks; small disposable propane canisters may be recycled for free.

* Disposal price quoted assumes that loads are covered or secured. By Lane County ordinance, disposal fees double for unsecured loads. This policy is intended to reduce litter on the public roadways, and to keep our community beautiful. Do your part – tarp, secure, or cover your load.
