 INVITATION FOR BID,   FY10/11 FS-06

TO FURNISH AND DELIVER TO LANE COUNTY, THREE (3) COMPACT 4X4 PICKUPS, ONE (1) 1.5 TON CAB-CHASSIS, ONE (1) 1 TON PICKUP BOX DELETE, TWO (2) COMPACT SUV’S, ONE (1) MINI-VAN, SEVEN (7) MID SIZE SEDANS, ONE (1) INTERMEDIATE SUV, TWO (2) INTERMEDIATE SHERIFF SUV’S, SEVEN (7) POLICE SEDANS, ONE (1) UNMARKED POLICE SEDAN, THREE (3) 2WD POLICE SUV’S, ONE (1) ½ TON CC 4X4 PICKUP, ONE (1) SMALL CARGO VAN, ONE (1) 2x4 COMPACT PICKUP, NEW, UNUSED, CURRENT- MODEL, VEHICLES WITH NO TRADE-IN.

 

 

  Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received at the Office of the Department of Public Works, 3040 N. Delta Hwy, Eugene, Oregon 97408 until:

Tuesday, Jan 25, 2010 at 10:30 a.m.

All bids received in proper form shall be publicly opened and read aloud at

Tuesday, July 25, 2010 at 10:45 a.m.

Bidder's Name, Address, Bid # and Opening Date, Shall be on the
Outside of the sealed envelope.

Bids must be made upon the bid forms bound in the contract documents and must be accompanied by a certified/cashier’s check, bid bond, or irrevocable letter of credit issued by an insured institution as defined in ORS 706.008 payable to the Lane County Department of Human Resources and Management Services in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount bid.

A copy of the bid specifications and documents are on file and may be obtained for review at the Department of Public Works, 3040 N. Delta Hwy, Eugene, Oregon 97408.

All bidders are required to comply with the provisions of ORS Ch. 279, and all applicable provisions of the Equal Employment Opportunity Act of 1972 and the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended.

Lane County may reject any bid not in compliance with all prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements, and may reject for good cause any and all bids upon finding of the agency that it is in the public interest to do so.

Bidders must be Equal Opportunity Employers.  Each bid must contain a statement as to whether the bidder is a resident bidder, as defined in ORS 279.029.
