METROPOLITAN WASTEWATER SERVICE DISTRICT
Harris Hall Main Floor - Following Regular Meeting
Commissioner Steve Cornacchia presided with Commissioners Ellie Dumdi,
Bobby Green, Sr., Peter Sorenson, and Cindy Weeldreyer present. County Administrator Bill
Van Vactor, County Counsel Teresa Wilson, and Recording Secretary C. Daniel Lindstrom were
also present.
1. PUBLIC COMMENTS
None.
2. ORDER 98-5-27-1M/In the Matter of Appointing Two Citizen Members to the Lane
County Metropolitan Wastewater Service District Budget Committee.
Lane County Senior Budget Analyst David Garnick reported that the recommended appointees
to the Metropolitan Wastewater service District Budget Committee were familiar with issues
involved and had agreed to serve.
MOTION: to approve Order 98-5-27-1M.
Commissioner Dumdi MOVED, Commissioner Green SECONDED.
In response to a question from Commissioner Sorenson, Commissioner described the
involvement and experience of nominees Doug Keeler and Walt Meyer in issues related to the
Metropolitan Wastewater Service District. He said he believed them were highly qualified.
VOTE: 5-0.
3. Approval of Minutes: March 18, 1998, 9:00 a.m.
MOTION: to approve the minutes of the March 18, 1998, meeting of the
Metropolitan Wastewater Service District.
Commissioner Green MOVED, Commissioner Dumdi SECONDED.
VOTE: 5-0.
4. EXECUTIVE SESSION
Commissioner Cornacchia announced that there would be no executive session of the
meeting.
Commissioner Cornacchia adjourned the meeting at 10:20 a.m.
