Commissioner Anna Morrison presided with Commissioners Bobby Green, Peter Sorenson,  Faye Stewart, Judith Pothier and Hugh Massengill present.  Bill Dwyer was excused. Assistant County Counsel Stephen Vorhes and Recording Secretary Malinda Dodson were also present.

2. COMMISSIONERS' REMONSTRANCE

 

None.

 

3. REGULAR BUSINESS

 

a. ORDER 05-2-16-1H/In the Matter of Entering into a Loan Agreement with the City of Eugene for Rehabilitation at Firwood Apartments.

 

Dorothy Cummings explained that Firwood Apartments were purchased ten years ago and at that time some exterior work was done but that they were unable to do the needed major work.  Cummings said that although they have been able to keep a good program going, the major work now needs to be addressed.  

 

Cummings reported that City of Eugene has offered a loan with favorable terms in the amount of $200,000 at 2 percent interest with the first payment due in 2009.   

 

MOTION:  Commissioner Dwyer MOVED approval of Order 05-2-16-1-H, Commissioner Pothier SECONDED, VOTE:  Unanimous.

 

4. CONSENT CALENDAR

 

a. Approval of Minutes: 

January 19, 2005, HACSA, 9:00 a.m. 

 

MOTION:  Commissioner Dwyer MOVED approval of Order 05-2-16-1-H, Commissioner Pothier SECONDED, VOTE:  Unanimous. 

 

5. EXECUTIVE SESSION as per ORS 192.660

 

None.
